Zhongfu: Lung 1: Front Mu point of Lung. (Where Stress first invades body).

Zhongfu– Central palace LU1 Lung Mu point Location: Laterosuperior to the sternum, 1 cun below LU2, at the level of the first intercoastal space, 6 cun lateral to the anterior midline.
Action: Disseminates and descends lung qi, alleviates cough and wheezing, transforms phlegm, clears heat and regulates water passages, descends stomach qi.
Indication: Cough asthma, chest pain, shoulder and back, fullness of chest.

Zusanli (Stomach 36): Energizer point for Qi.

Zusanli- Three miles of the foot ST36 He Sea point, Sea of food point earth. Location: 3 cun below ST35 and 1 finger breath from the anterior border of tibia.
Action: Harmonizes ST, forties SP and resolves damp, supports true Qi and yuan qi, tonifies qi and nourishes blood and yin,
clears fire and calms spirit, activates the channel and alleviates pain, revives they yang and restores consciousness.
Indication: Gastric pain, vomiting, hiccup, abdominal distention, borborygumus, diarrhea, dysentery, constipation, mastitis, enteritis, aching of knee joint, beriberi, edema, cough, asthma
indigestion, apoplexy,hemiphlegia, dizziness, insomnia, mania.

Mingmen: Gate of Life, energizer.

Mingmen- Gate of Life GV4 Location: Below the spinous process of the 2nd lumbar vertebrae.
Action: Clear heat, regulates the GV, tonifies the KD, benefits the lumbar spine.
Indication: Stiffness of back, lumbago, impotence, nocturnal emission, irregular menstruation, diarrhea, indigestion, leukorrhea.

Sanyinjiao- Spleen 6, cross of kidney, liver, and spleen channels. AVOID IF PREGNANT!

Sanyinjiao- Three Yin Intersection SP6 meeting of spleen, liver and kidney channels. Location: 3 cun directly above the tip of the medial malleoulus, posterior to the medial border of tibia.
Action: Tonifies and harmonizes SP/ST. Resolves damp, harmonizes Liv, tonifies KD, regulate menstruation, harmonizes lower jiao,
regulates urination, benefits genitals, calms spirit, invigorates blood, activates channel, alleviates pain.
Indication: Abdominal pain, borborygmus, abdominal distention, diarrhea, dysmenorhea, irregular menstration, uterine bleeding, leukorrhea, prolapsed uterus, infertility, delayed labour
impotence, enuresis, dysuria, edema, hernia, pain in ex. Genitalia, muscle atropy, headache, dizziness, veritgo, insominia.

Qichong- Stomach 30: digestive health.

Qichong- Penetrating Qi ST30 chong mai point, sea of food point. Location: 5 cun below the umbilicus, 2 cun lateral to CV2.
Action: Regulates qi in lower jiao, regulates pentrating vessel, subdues running piglet Qi (panic attacks).
Indication: Abdominal pain, hernia, swelling, pain of external genitalia, impotence, irregular menstruration.

Hegu- Large Intestines 4, command point of face good for headaches. NOT for PREGNANT women!

Hegu-enclosed valley LI4 Yuan Location: On the dorsum of the hand, between the 1st and 2nd metacarpal bones, approximately in the middle of the 2nd metacarpal boneon the radial side.
Action: Regulate weiqi and adjust sweating, expel wind and release exterior, regulate face, eyes, nose, mouth, and ears.
Activate channel and alleviates pain, induces labour, restores yang.
Indication: Headache, Neck pain, redness, swelling/pain of eye, epistaxis, nasal obstruction, rhinorrhea, toothache, deafness, swelling face, sore throat, parotitis, trismus, facial paralysis.

Neiguan- Pericardium 6, command point of chest. Nausea go-to point, headaches.

Neiguan- Inner Pass PC6 Luo connecting, Confluent point of Yin Linking Vessel. Location: 2 cun above the transverse crease of the wrist, between the tendons of m.palmaris longus and m.flexor radialis.
Action: Unbinds the chest and regulates qi, regulates heart and calms spirit, harmonizes stomach and alleviates nausea and vomiting,
clears heat, opens yin linking vessel.
Indication: Cardiac pain, palpitations, stuffy chest, stomachache, nausea, vomiting, hiccup, mental disorder, epilepsy,insomnia, febrile disease, irritability, malaria, pain of elbow and arm.

Yongquan- Bubbling well

KD1 jing well wood Location: On the sole, in the depression when the foot is in plantar flexation, approx. at junction of anterior 1/3 and posterior 2/3.
Action: Descends excess from the head, calms the spirit, revives consciousness and rescues yang.
Indication: Headache, blurred vision, dizziness, sore throat, dryness of tongue, loss of voice, dysuria, infantile convulsions, sweaty feet, loss of consciousness.

Fengchi- Wind Pool GB20

Meeting point of GB, TW, Yang Heel, and Yang Linking. Location: in the depression between the upper portion of m.SCM, and m. trapezius, on the same level with GV16.
Actions: Eliminates wind, benefits the head and eyes, clears the sense organs, activates the channel and alleviates pain.
Indication: Headache, vertigo, insomnia, pain and stiff neck, blurred vision, glaucoma, red and painful eyes, tinnitus, convulsion, epilepsy, infantile convulsions, febrile diseases, common cold, nasal obstruction.

Taichong- Great Rushing LV3

Yuan source, Shu- stream, Heavenly star earth Location: On the dorsum of the foot, in the depression distal to the junction of the first and second metatarsal bones.
Action: Spreads liver qi, subdues liver yang and extinguishes wind, nourishes liver blood and liver wind, clears head and eyes,
regulates menstruation, regulates lower jiao.
Indiciation: Headache dizziness, vertigo, insomnia, congestion, swelling and pain of eye, depression, infantile convulsion, deviation of the mouth, pain in the hypochondriac region, uterine bleeding, hernia, enuresis,retention of urine, epilepsy, pain in the anterior aspect of medial malleolus.

Quchi- Pool on Bend LI11 He sea earth Location: When the elbow is flexed, the point is in the depression at the lateral end of the transverse cubital crease, midway between LU5 and lateral epicondyl of the humerus.
Action: Clears heat, cools blood, eliminates wind, drains damp, alleviates itching, regulates qi and blood, activates channel and alleviates pain.
Indication: Sore throat, toothache, red/pain eyes, scrofula, urtucaria, hives, motor impairment of upper extremities, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, febrile diseases.
